Mi-8MTV simulator is designed for fulfillment of entire range of piloting procedures and tasks to obtain necessary flying skills in real conditions of cockpit, fitted with all onboard systems. The peculiar feature and advantage of this simulator is that it ensures reliable modeling of emergency situations, associated with pilot errors, complicated weather conditions or battle damages.
Full Flight Simulator of Mi-8MTV helicopter is designed for the following:
- Training of flying technique under conditions of real cockpit interior and simulation of operation of all onboard systems;
- Training of piloting technique at day and night under simple and complicated weather conditions within entire range of altitudes and flying speed;
- Training of actions upon landing on the space limited area outside airfield under different degrees of snow whirl and dust formation;
- Training of crew's actions in complicated and emergency situations in case of errors in flying technique;
- Line oriented flight training (LOFT);
- Crew resource management trainings (CRM).
Simulator includes standard helicopter cockpit, equipped with entire complex of equipment, control boards, seats, control levers etc. There is also additional working place for instructor allows controlling of crew training, changing flight conditions, entering and withdrawing failures or helicopter system.
